Sports Orientation Program
Goa Cricket Association has put forth a new and exciting sports orientation program at its Indoor Cricket academy located in Porvorim. The program inculcates general sports and kinaesthetic development aimed at young boys and girls to promote interest in a wide range of sports. Then based on the child's aptitude, they can focus on more specialised sports involving multiple skills.
The program aims to develop basic skills like sharp reflexes, balance, strength, power, agility, co ordination, flexibility, psycho-social development, which are prerequisites for athletic training.
A combination of activities such as table-tennis, boxing, badminton, mini tennis, gymnastics, futsal, aerobics and core stability development using pilates, power yoga, cognitive development techniques will be provided with specialised instructors for the same.
